Your FamilyWall Home Hub requires a Wi-Fi connection to access FamilyWall features and keep your family’s information up to date.
Connect your Home Hub to Wi-Fi
To connect your Home Hub to your Wi-Fi network:
- Turn on your Home Hub.
- Open Settings on your Home Hub.
- Select Wi-Fi or Network & Internet.
- Make sure Wi-Fi is turned on.
- Select your home Wi-Fi network from the list of available networks.
- Enter your Wi-Fi password when prompted.
- Select Connect.
Once connected, your Home Hub should display a Wi-Fi icon indicating that it has successfully connected to your network.
Having trouble connecting?
If your Home Hub isn’t connecting to Wi-Fi, try the following:
- Check your Wi-Fi password. Make sure you’ve entered the correct password, including any uppercase letters, numbers, or special characters.
- Check your connection. Confirm that other devices in your home can connect to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Move closer to your router. A weak Wi-Fi signal may prevent your Home Hub from connecting reliably.
- Restart your Home Hub. Unplug your Home Hub. Then, plug it back in. Try connecting again.
- Restart your router. Unplug your router, wait approximately 30 seconds, and plug it back in. Allow it to fully reconnect before trying your Home Hub again.
- Forget and reconnect to the network. If your network appears in your Home Hub’s Wi-Fi settings but won’t connect, select the network, choose Forget, and then reconnect using your Wi-Fi password.
Changing Wi-Fi networks
If you move your Home Hub or need to connect it to a different Wi-Fi network, open your Home Hub’s Settings, select Wi-Fi, and choose the new network you’d like to use.
