You can mount your FamilyWall Home Hub on a wall to create a convenient, central place for your family to view schedules, tasks, routines, and more.
Before getting started, choose a location that is easy for your family to see and access and is close enough to a power outlet and your home's router.
Before you mount your Home Hub
Before installation:
- Choose a secure, flat wall surface.
- Make sure the Home Hub will be positioned at a comfortable viewing and interaction height.
- Confirm that a power outlet is within reach of the Home Hub’s power cable.
- Check the wall for electrical wiring, plumbing, or other obstacles before drilling or installing mounting hardware.
- Make sure the mounting hardware you are using is appropriate for your wall type.
Mounting your Home Hub
- Choose your location. Decide where you’d like your Home Hub to be positioned and confirm that the location is close enough to a power outlet.
- Position the mounting hardware. Place the mounting hardware against the wall where you would like to install your Home Hub.
- Make sure it’s level. Before securing the mount, check that it is straight and level.
- Secure the mount to the wall. Install the mounting hardware according to the instructions provided with your Home Hub. The appropriate installation method may vary depending on your wall material.
- Attach your Home Hub. Carefully position the Home Hub onto the secured wall mount and make sure it is fully seated and secure before letting go.
- Connect the power cable. Plug your Home Hub into power and arrange the cable so it does not create a tripping or pulling hazard.
- Check the installation. Gently confirm that the Home Hub is secure before using it.
