Keeping your FamilyWall Home Hub up to date ensures you have access to the latest features, improvements, and fixes.
Update your Home Hub
To check for and install an available update:
- Make sure your Home Hub is connected to Wi-Fi and plugged into power.
- Open Settings on your Home Hub.
- Navigate to the software or system update settings.
- Select Check for Updates.
- If an update is available, follow the on-screen instructions to download and install it.
Your Home Hub may restart as part of the update process.
Automatic updates
Some Home Hub updates may download and install automatically while your device is connected to Wi-Fi and power.
If you’re prompted to install an available update, we recommend completing the update to keep your Home Hub running the latest available software.
Do not unplug or power off your Home Hub while an update is being installed.
Having trouble updating?
If an update won’t download or install:
- Confirm that your Home Hub has a stable Wi-Fi connection.
- Make sure your Home Hub is connected to power.
- Restart your Home Hub by unplugging it for approximately 30 seconds, then plugging it back in.
- Once your Home Hub restarts, check for updates again.
If you’re still unable to update your Home Hub, contact FamilyWall Home Hub Support and include any error messages displayed on the screen.
